The prestigious yachting event is back from 13th to 15th March.
All set for YARE, the event with Its network of professionals, brings together skills, innovation and excellence in the boating industry. From 13th to 15th March, the wide territory from Carrara to Livorno, with its heart in Viareggio and Versilia, will be the stage for this amazing event, which is enriched with new nuances and opportunities during the Yachting Week – in synergistic collaboration with SEATEC /Compotec, an event held on the same days in the CarraraFiere pavilions, covering the territory from north to south from Carrara to Argentario.
The participating companies are among the most prestigious internationally and will contribute to the high-level event with business meetings and significant innovations in the global nautical panorama. Among the protagonists of YARE, stand out names such as Adriatic 42, Lusben, Overmarine Group, Sanlorenzo, Palumbo Superyacht, Feadship, Cantiere Rossini, NCA Refit, Tankoa, Lurssen, Oceanco, Tecnopool, Seven Stars, Cantieri di Pisa, Jotun, Hill Robinson, RINA, Boero and Marina Port Vell, Marinepool and many other international important companies in the world of refit & aftersales.
All the companies attending will meet with more than 120 international captains, with an important delegation arriving from Greece and Turkey, representatives of sailing and motor yachts from 24 to over 90 metres, with a more substantial representation of vessels between 40 and 70 meters. The captains will be involved in the District Tour, which will include 3 stops on the Tuscan coast, and – as usual – in face to face meetings with companies during the “B2C Meet the Captains” which last year exceeded 1,600 meetings and aim to reach 2,000 this year.
A new and particularly important element for this year’s edition is the new MARE format, an acronym for Mediterranean Alliance of Refit Excellence, a moment of discussion with experts in the world of infrastructure, tourist ports and regions dedicated to yachting in the Eastern and Western Mediterranean, which will develop into a debate on market changes and on the impact of new navigation areas and Yachting Destinations, in a common analysis on strategies inside and outside the Mediterranean.
The initiative also follows the recent agreement among Mediterranean clusters which states the strategic union among NAVIGO, the French cluster RYN Riviera Yachting Network, and the Spanish cluster BMC Balearic Marine Cluster, which signed an international collaboration agreement on topics such as training, collective promotion of West Med, joint work on regulations and strengthening the network.
As every edition, YARE’s international media partner will be The Superyacht Group magazine, with which both The Superyacht Captains Forum on 14 March, and the workshops on Friday 15 March will be developed. The workshop will revolve around 4 macro-themes: People – Projects – Process – Planet, addressing as always strategic contents for the participants.
There will be no shortage of eagerly awaited leisure activities, including the renowned YARE Gala Dinner, in collaboration with Seatec/Compotec, taking place in a prestigious and evocative location like every year.
YARE is not only a privileged meeting point for yachting industry operators, but also a moment for discussion and communication. This year, the event will host the presentation of the district book “Nautica. La Storia Sia Noi”, enriched by 40 interviews with the protagonists of the industry, created by NAVIGO in collaboration with the ISYL Foundation and with the support of the Foundation Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca.
Furthermore, YARE is giving space to innovative and digital projects such as DR&AM and Captayn, and CIELO project, focused on sustainability issues and the extension of ESG criteria to companies in the district, financed by the Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca Foundation, and implemented by Lucense.
