Press Accreditation Guidelines

Journalists seeking access to media resources, coverage opportunities, and official event premises are required to complete the press accreditation process. Accreditation is granted exclusively to facilitate professional, independent journalistic coverage of our events.

Eligibility Requirements

Accreditation is reserved strictly for non-commercial editorial journalists. Applicants must fall into one of the following categories:

  • Press Card Holders: Holders of a valid press card or work pass issued within the last 12 months by a recognized non-industry press association or a specialized journalism organization.

  • Print Media: Journalists who can provide, upon request, two original bylined articles published within the last four months, along with a copy of the publication.

  • Radio & TV Media: Representatives who can provide two broadcast recordings of relevant reports aired within the last four months.

  • Photographers: Photojournalists who can submit original tear sheets or published photographs credited by the hiring client or media outlet.

  • Online Media: Digital publications meeting the following criteria:

    • Belong to a registered media organization with a verifiable physical address and contact phone number.

    • Feature substantial original news content, commentary, or analysis related to the event topic.

    • For newer outlets, provide visitor analytics, media citations, or recent unaltered bylined clippings from a recognized organization.

  • Editorial Staff & Contributors: Permanent staff members or regular contributors listed on an official publication masthead published within six months prior to the event.

  • Student Media: Student journalists providing official documentation or an accreditation request from their educational institution.

Strict Non-Commercial Policy

  • Editorial Staff Only: Accreditation is granted solely for editorial and journalistic purposes.

  • Commercial Exclusions: Representatives from advertising, marketing, sales, business development, PR agencies, or general management do not qualify as journalists and will not receive press credentials.

  • Commercial Activities Prohibited: Press passes cannot be used for commercial outreach, client acquisition, or advertising sales during the event.

Verification & Conditions

  • The YARE team reserves the right to conduct additional verification regarding journalistic activities, even if a valid press card is provided.

  • All verification documents and proof of identification must be submitted in English. A valid photo ID may also be requested on a case-by-case basis.

  • Accreditation is not guaranteed. The YARE team reserves the right to deny, restrict, or revoke press access at any time at its sole discretion.
